Feb. 11, 2019 - Lincoln County Snowmobile Trails

Lincoln County’s funded snowmobile trails (County Administrated Trails) in Zone 4 and Zone 2 will open as of 8:00 AM Saturday February 9, 2019.

Winter ATV trails in Zone 2 and 4 will remain closed until 8:00 AM Saturday Feb 16, 2019.

Trails are in early season condition and may be rough and icy in some areas.

All of Zone 1 and Zone 3 funded snowmobile and winter ATV trails are open.

All trails are closed to winter ATV use when the temperature is above 28 degrees F.

Be aware of Trail Closed signs, stay on marked trails only and respect private land.

Timber harvesting is occurring in various locations along the trails, be aware of Logging Ahead signs and use extreme caution in these areas

Dec. 5, 2018 - Summer ATV Trails
Summer ATV trails are closed as of December 1, 2018
Dec. 12, 2018 - Underdown Summer Recreation Area-Horse and Bike Trails
The Underdown Summer Recreation Trails are closed.

Check here for events and updates on trail openings and closings. All summer trails are closed at this time.

Bike trails located in the Underdown Recreation Area have sections that are very challenging and are not for the novice rider. The signed horse trails are available for the beginning bike rider or for family outings. Please yield the right of way to horses when meeting on the horse trail.
Feb. 15, 2019 - Underdown - Winter Recreation Area
Underdown Winter X-C Trails are open. Track has been set on Loop Rd and the green, red and blue loops. Trails in excellent condition.

Emerald Ash Borer
EAB was first discovered in North America near Detroit, Michigan in 2002. Since then the beetle has spread to Canada and more than a dozen states, including Wisconsin.

Emerald ash borer was found for the first time in Wisconsin in August 2008 near the community of Newburg, several miles northeast of West Bend.
