Camp New Wood

Camp New Wood County Park is located 10 miles northwest of Merrill along the Wisconsin River on scenic State Highway 107. Camp New Wood is located on the site of a Civilian Conservation Corps camp that was active in the 1930's. The park is approximately 16 acres with 7 primitive camp sites.
