Highway

The mission of the Highway Department is to provide maintenance and construction on the county trunk highway system for the safe, convenient, and efficient movement of vehicles within Lincoln County.

Second, the Department provides good quality, cost-effective roadway maintenance and construction services to the State of Wisconsin and local municipalities for state highway and local road systems.

Finally, in an economical and timely manner, the Department plans, programs, and implements necessary county trunk highway improvements to efficiently accommodate increased traffic demands generated from area growth, and to enhance economic development in Lincoln County. The Highway Department keeps the safety of the public and its employees as its highest priority.
