Land Services Committee
(a) Membership: This committee shall consist of 7 supervisors.
(b) Oversight: The Committee shall act as the policy and oversight committee for the Land Information and Conservation Department, and Register of Deed Office.
(c) Responsibilities: This committee shall:
(i) assume the duties and responsibilities as described in Ch. 92, Wis. Stats.
(ii) be the coordinating body to suggest policies and procedures to plan, implement and maintain a County-wide land information system.
(iii) see that recording fees retained under §59.72(5), Wis. Stats., are disbursed to develop, plan and implement a land information system for Lincoln County.
(iv) assume the duties and responsibilities as described in Chapters 59.56 and 59.57, Wis. Stats.
(v) employ individuals for Extension work in the county, subject to approval of the University of Wisconsin Extension.
The Land Services Committee advises the County Board on appropriate amendments and updates to the comprehensive plan, hears advice from the Zoning Administrator and others on desirable amendments to the text of this chapter or the Official Zoning Map, advises the County Board on appropriate amendments to the text of this chapter or to the Official Zoning Map, reviews and decides on requests for conditional use permits, oversees the work program and budget for the Zoning Administrator and his office, and advises the Zoning Administrator on enforcement of the provisions of this chapter and on other matters as requested by the Zoning Administrator.
